“They have changed everything I thought about working with horses. In just one day I saw incredible progress. It was the smallest changes for the biggest results”

- Jerard P

What we offer. . .

  • Roping

Everything from absolute beginner to field doctoring. We can help you work from the ground up and prepare your horse for competition in the arena or running down a cow out on the allotments.

  • Horsemanship

Horsemanship I - For the green horse. We suggest you work in the snaffle bit for this program. We find that a lot of things get missed in a horses foundation and to offer him the best deal we work from the beginning and move up as fast as you learn.

Horsemanship II - For the more advanced horse. Hackamore to the bridle horse. We will work on the details that shape a true bridle horse.

  • Ground Work

The most underrated work a horseman can do. This can make or break whether your horse has a solid foundation or if he’s enjoyable to be around on the ground. We work through his foundation and any issues that might arise. From yielding each quarter, to trailer loading to saddling and preparing for the first ride.

How to schedule a clinic with us:

To talk about scheduling a clinic with us use our contact form in the top right corner. Clinics can be in both the French and English language.

What we offer:

  • Roping - beginners roping, to preparing the horse, to working live cattle. (we also do sip and swing events which are a hit!)

  • Gentling/Halter Breaking

  • Ground work

  • Colt starting - Only done at our home ranch location - Nitehawk Ranch

  • Horsemanship I - The green horse to the hackamore horse

  • Horsemanship II - The hackamore horse to the bridle horse

Our most requested clinic is the combination of Groundwork & Horsemanship I. We typically shape the days by doing morning ground work and then moving on to Horsemanship I in the afternoon.

What we need:

For most clinics we need a minimum of a round pen, but it really depends on the work being done.

There must be at least one available restroom for the public.

What you can expect:

We ask that host locations arrange to provide lunch and dinner for participants. We always want to go above and beyond for our clients because after all they are what keeps us going. They deserve all we can give for supporting us. We asked for there to always be healthy options available. We are happy to go over ideas and what past hosts have done that has been a hit and easy for host locations to manage.

We like to keep clinics small so that the horsemen attending can truly get a value from the time they spend with us. Typical clinic size is 6-10. Along with the small number of participants there are 2 of us there to help the students.

If you can offer overnight parking for participants we can add this to our information flyers.
