With experience spanning the Western United States, Argentina, and Europe, these two horsemen have been sharing their knowledge wherever horse culture thrives.
This special event will be presented in both French and English, making it accessible to everyone.
You’ll witness live training with both wild and domestic horses and mules — from the very first touch of a wild horse, to the first ride, to the early rides of promising young ranch horses and mules. Watch as finished, experienced ranch horses are used to guide the process, creating a smoother and safer start for each colt or mule.

Black Mountain Ranch - France
Californio Horsemanship clinic where we will introduce the concept of what we expect from a finished bridle horse and how to get one there.
Chantonnay Farms - France
An introduction to big loop roping. A Californio traditional style of handling cattle on large scale operations in the Western U.S. All stages of horse and human welcome.
Wildust Ranch - France
An introduction to Californio Horsemanship and cattle work. Here we will introduce you to the type of cattle work that is done on real working ranches throughout the Western United States. We will get into the detail of low stress cattle handling and efficiency in understanding the flight zones and turning points on cattle. They way true working ranches operate. This is not the entertainment style high speed cattle sorting like you see in arenas among hobbyists.
Chantonnay Farm - France
An introduction to the type of cattle work that is done on real working ranches throughout the West.
